FSU Health represents provides a unique opportunity for FSU to transform health-care delivery by leveraging strategic partnerships across North Florida and consolidating many health-related initiatives already underway across campus under one initiative, thus increasing impact.

The university has several partnerships in this area, most notably with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, St. Joe Company and the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.

To enhance research and help launch FSU Health, FSU and TMH jointly hired a research officer and a research coordinator. FSU and TMH also have begun to establish guidelines to pursue additional joint hires of physicians.
